Additional hunts (G, M, J and area archery hunts) are draws for part of a zone and aren't listed; quotas can change with the Fish and Game Commission's yearly amendments. General seasons for the game management units in this area; special permits, controlled hunts, raffles and damage hunts aren't listed. Rules can change during the season: check CDFW's regulations and emergency rules before you go.

Who can hunt here
Most private timberland in California is closed to the public. The exception is Sierra Pacific Industries: its California land is open to the public on foot, free, except when SPI closes it for fire danger (most summers) or for active logging. No motor vehicles past locked gates, no camping, no fires, no target shooting. Green Diamond's California land is closed to the public, by its own page. Every other cut on these maps needs the owner's permission unless it is on national forest or other public land.
