Who can hunt here

The Michigan DNR: Commercial Forest land is "open to public foot traffic for hunting, trapping and fishing. Any other activities require landowner permission."

  • Motor vehicles are the landowner's call, even on old logging roads. A gate or fence doesn't stop foot access.
  • No structures, including deer blinds, and no camping or cutting without permission.
  • Land can be closed during an active timber harvest.
